Using this website

By using this website you accept these terms. It tells you about Oxford Polo and what we offer. We keep it as accurate as we can, but prices, fixtures and the timetable can change, so book.oxfordpolo.co.uk always has the current prices and places. We may change or take down any part of the website, and it may sometimes be unavailable.

Please don’t misuse it: don’t try to get into parts of it or our systems that aren’t public, don’t send spam or anything harmful through its forms, and don’t copy it in bulk by automated means.

Lessons, chukkas, memberships and gift vouchers

You book lessons and chukkas, join the Arena Club, and buy blocks of lessons and gift vouchers at book.oxfordpolo.co.uk. Before a rider first rides or you pay, you’ll be asked to read and agree to:

• the rider disclaimer, which explains the risks of riding and polo;
• our terms and conditions for lessons and chukkas, which cover booking, cancelling, account credit and what happens if we have to cancel;
• the Arena Club membership terms, when you join the Arena Club.

Those terms form your agreement with us for what you book, and we email you a copy of anything you agree to. The price you pay is the one shown when you book. A gift voucher’s value and how long it lasts are shown when you buy it.

First lessons, events, livery, team management, transport and breeding are arranged with us directly, and we’ll confirm what’s agreed, including the price, in writing.

Riding and polo

Riding and polo carry risks, even with experienced horses and coaches. Please tell us about any medical condition that could affect your riding, follow your coach’s instructions, and read the rider disclaimer before you ride.

Our content

The words, photographs, film, logos and design of this website belong to Oxford Polo Ltd or to those who have allowed us to use them. You’re welcome to view, print and share pages for your own use. Please ask us before using anything else from it.

Other websites

We link to other websites, such as Black Hound for Oxford Polo kit, our social media, WhatsApp and Google Maps. They have their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for them. Kit you buy from Black Hound is sold by Black Hound.

Our responsibility to you

We provide this website free of charge for information. We’re not responsible for losses caused by relying on it instead of the current details at book.oxfordpolo.co.uk or from our office, or by it being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top when we do. They’re governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there.
