Polo management
Your season, handled
Our knowledge of the English and international circuit is at your disposal. We look after your horses, your entries and your logistics from our base at Kemsley Farm, so you can concentrate on the polo.
Livery
Care at every stage, from foal to fixture
Full livery to suit you and your horse, all year round. At Kemsley Farm we offer full playing livery in our barns, our fields or both, depending on what each horse needs. Norton Grounds, home of our breeding centre, provides year-round turnout for breeding and playing horses.
We care for horses 365 days a year, whether they are in work or not. Full livery is £35.71 per horse per day, plus VAT. For the arena season it runs for 21 weeks (full season) or 13 weeks (half season), including time to get horses fit.
- Day-to-day care, exercise and stable management
- Horses prepared for lessons, chukkas and matches
- Feed, bedding and haylage
- Farrier and vet visits managed for you; their fees are billed to you directly
Gold Arena Club members get the first week free for each horse. Fully serviced yards of 6 or 12 stables are also available for the summer season.
Team management
A smooth season for you and your team
Book Kemsley for team practices and we will find suitable opposition, with umpires and an on-site paramedic if you need them. We plan your fixtures, suggest professionals, and take care of entries, play dates and transport.
- Team shirts and kit
- Personal trainers for pre-match warm-ups
- Photographers, video and catering
Not sure where to begin? An initial conversation costs nothing.
Player mentoring
Guidance from people who have played
One-to-one support for players developing their game and planning their season, from our coaching team and professional players. Tell us where you want to get to and we will put a plan together.
Transport
Calm journeys, home and abroad
A fleet of fully insured, accredited lorries and a two-horse trailer for journeys across the United Kingdom and Europe. Lorry design and driver experience come first, so journeys are calm for horses and owners alike.
For worldwide moves, we can advise and support parts of the journey.
- Priced by mileage and number of horses
- Journeys combined where suitable
- Fully legal and fully insured on every trip
Breeding
A breeding programme with VT Vets
VT Vets bring deep experience of reproduction and support natural cover, artificial insemination and embryo transfer. We can help you find a recipient mare and choose the right stallion.
Many clients foal at Norton Grounds for its peace and its team: Roger and Sarah Ashby keep foaling watch, and Krisha and Jess look after the young stock. Youngsters can stay in turnout with us until they are ready for the next stage of training.
