The Oxford University Polo Club (OUPC) was founded in 1874 one year before our governing body the HPA making it one of the three oldest polo clubs in the world. During its time with Oxford Polo we have seen it become a formidable polo club in both prestige and accomplishments.
Oxford Polo supports the Oxford University Polo Team in their varsity matches against Cambridge as well as their fixtures against other universities, the army and local polo clubs. We have followed them to China and there are plans afoot to cross the Atlantic to compete for the Atlantic Cup against Harvard & Yale.
Oxford University can be very proud of the depth in talent in their polo club. With over 80 playing members they field teams from the beginners at the SUPA nationals to the varsity squad, with their Captain George Peason representing England at the 2015 FIP World Cup in Chile.
